Historical replay asks how a fixed line would have matched known past draws. It does not ask what the next draw will be. In Labs, choose a line and a historical window to compare it against all included draws.
Read the whole record
A list of matches can look impressive on its own. Always consider the number of draws compared and the number without a prize-tier match. Wisenum displays both alongside the matches.
Avoid hindsight
If you choose a line after seeing results, the replay cannot demonstrate that you could have selected it in advance. Assessing a method prospectively requires recording it before future draws, without changing it in response to those results.
